Old Chester

Description

Old Chester belongs to the Old series (legacy BEA, now within the Vandersanden Group) — a tumbled handform brick with the reclaimed-look character the Old range is built around. Pre-firing tumbling gives each brick worn edges and a softly aged face without the inconsistency of genuine reclaim.

The palette reads as an aged red/multi typical of Chester stock, and the clay body uses either a Brunsummer/Maas mix or Weichsel loam consistent with the rest of the Old series.
