Nevado

Description

Nevado is one of Vandersanden’s more chromatically varied handform bricks — a base grey body that runs across dark grey, light grey, beige and anthracite within a single elevation. The colour variation is developed through smothering reduction firing, which is why the tones feel blended and organic rather than printed or applied.

The variegation is the whole point of the brick: every course reads differently, and you get real depth from a distance as well as up close. That makes it a strong pick for contemporary or traditional residential schemes, cladding and character facades where a flat grey would look a bit one-note.
