Within Northcot’s Handmade range, Draycott Red is the sand-faced wirecut entry, produced at Blockley, Gloucestershire. The face has a deep burgundy body with subtle red variegation in a traditional red. Cotswold provenance — clay quarried in Blockley, Gloucestershire, from the same bed used for over a century. Performance reads 24 N/mm² compressive, F2 frost, 17% water absorption.
