Cooksbridge Rustic Blend

Description

Cooksbridge Rustic Blend is fired from Wealden clay at Ibstock’s Chailey (Sussex) kiln, part of the Cooksbridge range of thrown/soft-mud stocks. The colour is a buff with rustic tonal variation — warmer and more characterful than the clean Cooksbridge Yellow Clamp Stock it sits alongside.

The light rustic surface and frogged face give it the tactile quality of a traditional Sussex stock, which is why it turns up consistently on conservation work and character housing in the South East. Paired with Cooksbridge Yellow Clamp Stock on the same kiln it gives Sussex designers a coordinated rustic-to-yellow palette.
