Amato Blend

Description

Amato Blend sits within Ibstock’s continental-blend group at the Leicester (Ellistown) kiln — a thrown/soft-mud stock positioned alongside the Albus/Niveus/Tenebris family. The colour is a buff with tonal variation, softer and warmer than a traditional English stock, with the slightly irregular face you get from soft-mud production.

It’s specified increasingly on contemporary residential and boutique commercial where the palette is pale and the design wants a continental brick rather than a UK cream. A subtle, grown-up option.
