Jericho

Description

Jericho completes the Clapton-Clifton-Jericho urban dark trio in Ibstock’s contemporary catalogue, attributed to the Aldridge kiln. It’s a deep dark blue wirecut with a slightly more engineered face than its two siblings, which gives elevations a harder, more architectural edge.

The colour comes from the blue clay body rather than a coating, so it weathers predictably without edge fade. It’s specified most often on feature elevations and contemporary residential work where the design brief calls for dark mass with a clean brick face. The EBM datasheet has the full spec, and samples are available from our UK team for panel approval.
